Infos intéressantes. En vrac : les 'vrais' raids concernent les joueurs level 80. Il y aura 8 donjons, (3 pour le Tier 1, 3 Tier 2, 2 Tier 3). Il faudra faire plusieurs fois les donjons Tier 1, pour être prêt (surement pour l'équipement) pour le Tier 2, et dans tous les cas, il faudra tuer les Boss Tier 1, pour accéder au Tier 2. En tout, il y aura 19 raids encounters.

Arguably, the most important aspect of any massively multiplayer online game is the player’s relationship with their character. Through thought provoking gameplay or solid balancing, every gamer should have the opportunity to love the class that he or she plays.
Evan Michaels is one of the group of individuals responsible for making the classes in Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures fun for players of the game. While we were in Oslo, the Ten Ton Hammer staff sat down with Evan to discuss a few of the more intriguing problems faced in MMOGs today and how AoC is dealing with them. His answers are quite candid, and his enthusiasm for building these classes is really apparent.

How would you describe the armor and weapons in Age of Conan? Are the items going to be as “fancy” looking as what we see in other games?
Thomas: We are using graphical assets to reflect that this is equipment intended to be used. We don’t have huge flaring shoulder pads, we don’t have pants that are burning in six places. We have equipment that serves a purpose, and it looks the part.
That said, the amount of detail that is in our equipment is astounding. If you equip a full set of chainmail, for instance, you’ll be able to see every link in the armor. It has specular as well, so it reflects light, casts shadow, and so on.
And that’s just how it looks.
In some games, we’ve seen a tendency to just toss items at the player without giving it any thought. We will not be dropping loot, equipment, or items that aren’t suitable for the monster you’re fighting. Chickens will not... |

Can players meet the gods of Hyboria in the game?
Joel Bylos: This is one for the lore people. If they've ever read "Conan Antics" by, I believe, Don Henley, there's a very in-depth argument that he presents that the gods in Conan's world are as hard to prove that they exist as the gods in our world. A lot of the other writers beyond Howard took liberties with his original text to make the gods more palpable and to give them a bigger presence in their books. Howard never had the gods really present, and Henley argues that the gods are really spiritual entities rather than physical beings.
So you won't actually be meeting the gods in the game, but that's also because we don't want to go against Howard's wishes.
Will there be any quests where you have to pray or show your religion in any way?
